The opportunity
The nation’s first accredited college exclusively dedicated to educating neurodivergent students is accepting proposals for its 2027–28 Speaker Series. Programs may be lectures, conversations, demonstrations, performances, or interactive experiences. Strong proposals combine audience engagement with meaningful educational content.
What you get
Each year, proposed speakers and topics are presented in a survey sent to more than 1,500 subscribers. Audience feedback helps determine the final season lineup.
Who they're looking for
Open to: • Scholars, authors, historians, and scientists • Artists, musicians, theater companies, and dance ensembles • Adventurers and other subject-matter experts Know your audience Attendees are intellectually curious members of the public—not academic specialists. The strongest proposals translate expertise, artistry, and scholarship into accessible, engaging experiences. Think less academic conference and more TED Talk. Music, theater, and dance proposals should include an educational component, such as historical context, artist commentary, cultural interpretation, demonstrations, audience discussion, or post-performance talkbacks. Not seeking Self-help, motivational, sales-oriented, or professional development presentations.

What's provided
